Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Liverpool, and cover Merseyside for teepee sleepover bookings.
Delivery charges may apply for bookings over 20 miles from L24, our HQ!
How do I prepare my home for the teepee sleepover and how much space do you need?
Each of our tents requires 1m (W) x 1.4m (L) with some space at the end of the bed for the breakfast tray (although these can be folded and placed onto the beds if needed). Please, please have a quick measure up before booking!
The room to be used should be cleared, and teepee space cleaned, in advance of our arrival please. This is to ensure that we are able to set up for you efficiently, and with as little disruption to you as possible! Thank you
How long does it take to set up and clear away the teepees and decorations?
Depending on the number of teepees, parking location etc., we usually ask that you allow around 1 hour for set up, and 45 minutes for us to clear everything away for you. It’s often the case that we require much less time than this though!
How long is the hire period?
You have the use of the teepees for 24 hours – although longer hires can be arranged subject to availability.
We will deliver and set-up your party at a mutually convenient time, and return the next day to clear everything away after the sleepover is finished.
Do you need access to a power socket?
We pride ourselves on providing teepee experiences which will delight, and so attention-to-detail is extremely important. There may be occasions where we would like to be able to use a handheld steamer. We most certainly do not do crinkles! If possible therefore, it would be very helpful to be able to use one socket very briefly to remove any pesky wrinkles that may spoil the aesthetics of your set up!
All lights etc. included in the themes are battery operated.
Which age are the teepee sleepovers best suited to?
The teepee experiences are perfect for children aged from 5 to 12 years, although we have had both younger and older children enjoy them too! Bear in mind that the mattresses are 1.4m in length for any taller children out there!
How are the teepees and bedding cleaned?
Good hygiene standards are non-negotiable! Following each hire of the beds and equipment, all teepee covers and fabrics are laundered thoroughly, and all accessories are carefully cleaned. You can be sure that when the equipment arrives with you, it meets our high standards of cleanliness!
Can I host my party outside?
Unfortunately, Golden Slumbers teepee tents and mattresses are for INDOOR use only.
Will you hold a date for me until I can fully confirm my booking?
Yes. Provisional bookings for parties taking place more than 14 days in advance will be held for 48 hours. Unfortunately, any party dates not confirmed within these times will be re-released, but we will always try to maintain contact with you to avoid this happening!
When is payment required and what is included?

Once we receive your completed Booking Form, we will send you an invoice detailing required payment amounts and dates.
We kindly ask for a deposit of 50% of final fee to fully confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the booking date. An additional security deposit of £50 will be payable along with the final balance. The security deposit is refundable once the equipment has been collected undamaged and fully tested (normally within 48 hours).
What happens if something gets damaged?
Our business is children’s parties… we know things get broken or damaged from time to time. We will of course do our very best to try and clean or repair anything damaged, but, if an item requires specialist cleaning, or needs to be replaced, then we will utilise the security deposit to meet any costs. (Receipts can be provided if needed.) This is simply to ensure that every single child receives the same standard of high quality on their special day.
Is there any activity I should avoid during the hire of your equipment?
Yes, please. We very kindly ask for you not to smoke in the vicinity of the teepee equipment, and we would also greatly appreciate it if any of your lovely pets could be kept out of the party room during the hire period. We love our furry friends, of course, but pets and teepees don’t mix! Thank you 🤍
We also ask that the use of pens/crayons/make-up/nail polish (or similar substances which could cause significant damage) is treated as a no-no when using our equipment. Very much appreciated 🤍
What if I need to cancel?
Firstly, we will always do our very best to offer your sleepover experience on an alternative date. If for any reason, you are unable to reschedule your party, then our refund policy would apply. 50% deposits paid are non-refundable but can be transferred to any available future date. Any other monies paid may qualify for a full or partial refund depending on how close to the party date the cancellation was confirmed. Please see T&Cs for full details.
Are you insured?
Yes. Golden Slumbers Teepees has suitable public liability insurance, and you can be sure that we take the utmost care to ensure the safety of all party guests at all times.
What if I have my heart set on a particular theme or colour scheme that you don't yet offer?
Just let us know! We will do our very best to make your sleepover wishes come true!

How will I know if my venue is suitable for the teepee hire?
Additional space is usually required for event bookings. We will liaise with the you and your chosen venue to ensure the space available is suitable for hire. We will also arrange set up and collection directly with the venue, so you don’t need to worry about anything. Just turn up and enjoy!!
When is payment required and what is included?

We kindly ask for a deposit of 50% of final fee to fully confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the booking date. An additional security deposit of £100 will be payable along with the final balance. The security deposit is refundable once the equipment has been collected undamaged and fully tested (normally within 72 hours).
When will I need to confirm numbers and design choices?
To provide enough notice to make everything perfect for you, we kindly ask that final numbers and choices be confirmed at least 21 days prior to the date of the booking. Any booking reductions after this time will still be charged for at the previous rate.
